Dear Friends of Historic Forest Grove,
What a fun day we had attending your garden tour. Forest Grove is so friendly. Since we live in Portland, we needed help finding the Old Train Station. A nice couple said ‘follow us’ and showed us the way. So thanks to friendly Forest Grove citizens, we had a most enjoyable fun day – and loved the gardens and quilts. Congratulations on a very successful event. The 100 degree day didn’t damper the day.”

"Sunday in the Garden" was held on June 2, 2019. Six beautiful gardens were on tour stretching from historic Old Town Forest Grove to the modern Forest Gale Heights neighborhood. Learn artistic ways to garden in small spaces, how to tackle a giant slope, and how to create a yard with something for the whole family. Experience the joys of the old days with “games of years gone by.” Each of the gardens will take you back to easy-going summer days by featuring displays of vintage board games like Monopoly, Clue, and Parcheesi and lawn games like croquet and badminton, with a brief history and the rules of each.

The 2017 FHFG Garden Tour was held on June 4. This year's theme was "Silks and Threads and Flower Beds"

This year's Garden Tour was a huge success! The theme was "Homegrown Gardens and Handmade Quilts"

We had wonderful gardens featured in this year's tour. The theme was "Melodies in the Garden". Local musicians were featured in various gardens on the tour.
