HELP WANTED!

Help Plant Abigail's Garden. May 1st, 2018

Over the past three months a design for a garden in the NE corner of the front yard of the Smith House has taken shape and guided the purchase and also some donations of concrete benches, plants, shrubs and trees.  Now it’s time to realize the promise of this design!

Planting is to begin soon!

A work party is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1st, 8:15am-12:30pm at the Smith House.

We will be digging out the paths and filling them with gravel as well as working on other hardscape projects. There will be a crew from the Washington County Work Release Program and we need additional volunteers, flat shovels and wheelbarrows.  If you can help us with any of this, please come and bring these tools along if you have them.

The co-chairpersons, Joyce Sauber and Jim Hilsenkopf, will be there to work and answer questions about the garden and its design.    For more information about the work party, please contact info@fhfg.org.
